JWCS

JWCS is happy to support the education of young women in Sparta and in our surrounding communities. This year, two scholarships valued at $1500 each will be awarded to local female high school seniors graduating in the Spring of 2025. Scholarships are to be used to support the winners’ tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment or other related expenses at their educational organization of attendance in the Fall of 2025.

Interested candidates should know that awards will be based primarily on service. Applicants will be judged on their level of service to community and school, as well as their overall commitment to and enthusiasm for volunteering. Written expression will also be considered.

Submission Deadline: Saturday, May 3, 2025 by 11:59 PM EST.

Winners will be announced in early June.

Applicants must be either a resident of Sparta OR attending one of the following schools:

• High Point Regional High School

• Hopatcong High School

• Kittatinny Regional High School

• Lenape Valley Regional High School 

• Newton High School 

• Pope John XXIII Regional High School

• Sparta High School

• Sussex County Technical School 

• Veritas Christian Academy 

• Wallkill Valley Regional High School 

Please submit a COMPLETE application to be considered for a scholarship. This includes the two essay questions and cataloging of community and school service found in our online application.
