Junior Woman's Club of Sparta
The Junior Woman's Club of Sparta (JWCS) is a 501c3 nonprofit, civic organization for women committed to promoting volunteerism, improving our community and fostering new friendships. The JWCS was formed in 1966 and is part of The New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs of GFWC.
The JWCS is comprised of women from Sparta and surrounding towns that gather as friends to foster goodwill and provide events and activities that bring the community together. Each year the JWCS raises and distributes thousands of dollars to local and national nonprofit organizations. Some of our favorite projects are Sparta Day, Safety Village, the 5th Grade Spelling Bee and the Holiday Wish Tree.
